Six months ago Celebrity Cruises implemented a new policy onboard their cruise ships which was extremely unpopular and impacted the Celebrity Cruises brand. In this cruise news video I will tell you what Celebrity Cruises did and what they’ve done now to reverse that policy. No matter if you’re sailing on Celebrity Millennium or Celebrity Ascent, you are likely to be impacted by this new Celebrity Cruises controversial policy.

Celebrity Cruises is a premium cruise line owned by parent Royal Caribbean Group, making Celebrity Cruises a sister cruise line to Royal Caribbean International. Celebrity operates a fleet of less than 20 ships, with their newest ship being Celebrity Ascent. Celebrity Xcel will be the newest cruise ship, a Celebrity Edge series ship, and will debut in November 2025.
