Black Management Forum objects to a ‘white man’ appointment as CEO of Mango

The appointments of Nico Bezuidenhout as Chief Executive Officer of Mango triggered hysteria at the Black Management Forum (BMF).

The BMF will do everything in its power to fight the appointment. Their objection is that he is a ‘white man’ and apparently is not qualified for the position.

Bezuidenhout stated that his previous experience at Mango and at SAA speaks volumes. BMF has stated in a statement that there are “thousands of black professionals” who are better qualified than Bezuidenhout.

Bezuidenhout resigned from Mango in 2016 to join Fastjet.

The SAA Council confirmed Bezuidenhout appointment and said it was a step in the right direction to stabilize the SAA group.
