Christopher (Stoffie) Graham Watson (34), the man who allegedly murdered his ex-girlfriend, Angie Angelique Fourie (24) in her apartment on Sunday night, November 7, appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of murder.

Watson in court today

The case was postponed until November 17. Watson was not asked to plead.

Watson is accused of killing Fourie in her home in the Terra Nova complex. Her neighbor saw her apartment on fire that evening and went to investigate. Fourie was found on the floor with a stab wound to her neck and marks on her body. Watson and Fourie were apparently involved in an argument before she died.

Two year old daughter

They also have a daughter (2 years and 11 months old), who stayed with Fourie. Mike Bolhuis, private investigator, told FiND iT earlier that Watson dropped off their daughter at about 11:30 p.m. that Sunday night at his sister in Secunda. Watson reported himself to the Norkem Park police station for questioning on Tuesday morning after a nationwide search of his own free will at around 06:45. The little girl is currently safe with family members.
