KwaZulu Natal Hawks have their work cut out after heroin worth R200 million was stolen at an office in Port Shepstone.
HAWKS KEPT HEROIN WEIGHING 540KG WITH A VALUE OF R200 MILLION
According to the report, the drugs went missing on Sunday 7 November at an office in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu Natal.
The only confirms that have been provided say the incident took place late in the evening, but it is yet to be discovered how the theft happened.
“At least 540kg of heroin was stolen from the Hawks office in Port Shepstone, on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, on Sunday,” TimesLIVE reported.
“While details are sketchy about how exactly the theft happened, TimesLIVE understands the drugs, with a street value of about R200m, were stolen from the building on Sunday evening.”
